Dance Video of the Day!!
Today's video comes from two, young, emerging choreographers from NY. Neil "Dradle" Schwartz and Jared Jenkins are the perfect combination of fresh and fierce. Their swag is original, and their dance repertoire unique. The music is the driving force behind their choreography and their passion is the highway-seamlessly guiding them from one movement to the next. Be on the look out for the rise of this dynamic duo, and if you're lucky enough to take class from them, do it! You will leave energized, motivated and inspired to always do your best. Please be advised, you must bring your A-Game! No lazy dancers wanted-everything full out!
*Jared and Neil teach at Broadway Dance Center, Wednesdays from 9-10:30pm.

Me and the Concrete Jungle
If you haven't heard by now, I am living in NYC. A bit surreal, but finally, I've made it to the Big App! As a professional dancer, coming to the "City of Dreams" to make my own come true, I am anxious for the road ahead. Call me crazy, but I like the anticipation of my unknown destiny. The fact that I am in control of making it or breaking it excites me!
With that said, I plan on doing everything in my power to succeed in the "Concrete Jungle," and to learn as much as possible from the best teachers and students in the industry. I'm on beast mode, so keep your ears and eyes open. I plan on letting you know all the details along the way :)
DAY 1:
I took some awesome classes at Broadway Dance Center today.
"Facing Fears" was the topic of Jermaine's class. As an artist it is important that we step outside of our comfort zone and explore new possibilities. It is the best way to grow both personally and professionally. You may be good at one style, but what happens when the casting director asks you to do something totally different? So face your fears, and challenge yourself to something new. Start taking new classes with new teachers, and trying new styles. What doesn't kill you can only make you stronger!
Tomorrow morning I have an audition bright and early! Will keep you posted!!
Keep dancing my <3 muffs!
