Dance Video of the Day!!

Mariinsky (formerly known as the Kirov Ballet) and American Ballet's Prima Ballerina, Diana Vishneva introduces her own dance production with Beauty in Motion.  She commissioned three highly reputable choreographers, one including Desmond Richardson, to create three modern masterpieces.  The theme being "F.L.O.W," all three pieces give the audience a different interpretation for the word.  Part one plays with the use of black light where Diana and two other dancers create animal shapes using their hands.  All the animals they make use fluid movements to travel.  Part two, mirrors line the floor to reflect Diana, making it appear as if there are two perfect figures dancing in tandem.  Finally, the third piece is reminiscent of a giant jelly fish floating and twirling its tentacles on stage.  Diana has proven herself to be a beautiful ballerina and modern dancer, and the title of this piece is only befitting for her talents.

Here is F.L.O.W, part 1 & 2:
