Beauty Quick Fix - Sun Damage

BBQs , the smell of chlorine, beach parties and tanning.  Yep, it's that time again!  Summer is quickly approaching and with it comes the sun.  We are all prone to everyday sun damage.  However, if you find yourself in a situation where you "over-baked" and look like the night's lobster dinner, you should try this soothing beauty quick fix:
Cold Milk!
How to use:  Get cold, whole milk and pour into a bowl.  Get a clean, dry cloth or cotton ball and dip generously into the milk.  Apply to irritated skin.  Reapply every few hours.

Why: The properties in fresh milk help to cool the skin, restore pH balance and promotes faster healing.

*As with any dairy products, they must be wiped off with water to prevent spoilage.

Dance Jam of the Week

Vibe out to this dance jam of the week!
 Azelia Banks in Liquorice.

p.s. Anyone else notice how different Azelia Banks looks in this video? Did she sell herself out to appeal to the masses? Or is she just going through a self-motivated transformation? You be the judge.  To me, she looks great, minus that pink shiny two-piece paired with the leopard print boots, out there lookin like the spawn of Bishop Magic Don Juan and Lil' Kim, but we won't blame you Azelia. We blame your stylist!

Hudson Jean 2011 Fall Campaign

Ladies, I don't think I have to tell you why I'm featuring this video.  He is the newest face for Hudson and his name is Patrick.  But for anyone who needs more reasons as to why they should view this video, check 'em below:

1. The obvious, great eye candy!  Can't stress this enough.
2.  Love the raw, industrial scenery.
3.  Editing is creative.  I like how they included sounds from tech runs in the final cut.
4.  Shooting in black & white is always a winner with me.

How to Get Instant Pearly Whites!!

Do you have an upcoming photo shoot and want your teeth to sparkle and shine?!  Check out my organic quick-fix recipe made with ingredients that are already in your home!

Ingredients:
Baking soda
Lemon

In a small bowl, mix a small amount of baking soda with the juice of a freshly squeezed lemon (One wedge should do).  The mixture will bubble slightly.

Using a cotton swab, wipe saliva and excess plaque from your teeth before brushing on the mixture.  Leave the mixture on your teeth for 1-minute before gently brushing it off with a toothbrush.

Don't leave the mixture on your teeth longer than a minute; the acid will erode tooth enamel.
